Man Utd vs Man City 1-2 , Full Time Review : 8th April 2013

It was a Great display of counterattacking football, at the Old Trafford last night. As City Swapped away all three points in their much anticipated away Derby , in the English Premier League.

The game saw an all square nil-nil scoreline in the first half , but City managed to the be first to get there name registered on the score sheet via James Milner , early in the second half.

United , however managed a quick reply as Van Persie's Freekick saw , Jones get a touch in the air , which ultimately landed on the back of the net , after a deflection from Kompany on it's way in .

Aguero scored the last goal of the game , making it 1-2 in favor of the visitors and city mostly sealed their victory there on. 

With the League having almost run out all it's course , the fight at the top of the table saw City's points defecit being cut down to 12 . City now have 65 points from 31 games while their adversaries for the night , were held still at 77 points . With only a handful of games left to go, this season's champions title are almost assured by United.

EPL : Chelsea vs Manchester United : Can Sir Alex Break The Jinx ?

It's Super Sunday once again in the English Premier League and 'The Blues' are all geared up for confronting their adversaries tonight at Stamford Bridge as League leaders Chelsea clash with Manchester United  on October 28th. 

United are currently placed 3rd with 18 points up their sleeve , while Rivals , City are 3 points ahead at 21 with an extra Game played .

Sir Alex's men might also have some jinx to break as they had been unable to defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for almost a decade now .However , Chelsea's Star Mideo Lampard may be unavailable in this game due to injury concerns .   

Man United's new found creativity in the offense might prove effective against Chelsea tonight . Wayne Rooney is also back in form both in terms of goals and play .

EPL : Fulham vs Manchester City Live | 29th September

Sergio Augero is  back in the starting line up,  and that's what will be a sign of relief , for most City fans on the other side of Manchester ,tuning onto  their TV Sets back home . 

Fulham will be hosting City tonight on their EPL league encounter ,and will be in search of at least a draw  in their own backyard.

City manager Mancini will be the happier out of the  coaches going into the game ,as the Argentine Duo  featuring the likes of Augero and Tevez will be  back in action after a long interval time .

Chelsea are currently leading the points tally on first place followed by  United ,just 4 points behind with a game to spare.  Fulham are currently holding the sixth position preceding Man City who are  seventh on the League tables .

Fans at Old Trafford will eagerly be awaiting a spectacular tie up, once again in the English Premier League tonight , as last season Runners up Man United confront Tottenham Hotspurs  in their league clash on Saturday, 29th September. 

United , have been in a winning streak for six games running after their disappointing opener against Everton  F.C on their first game of this year's EPL campaign . However Sir Alex seems to have turned the tables for his side since then , and the red devils are well on their way leading the tables this season

Wayne  Rooney , may be starting tonight against Spurs after recovering from the gash he suffered  during their league game against Fulham . With a pool of stars to choose from , sir Alex might have a hard time deciding on his offensive line up , Van Persie and Kagawa are expected to lead from the front with Rooney playing a role of a attacking midfielder and proving support in attack. Rio ferdinad might be leading the defense line with assistance from Jhony Evans and Evra in absence Nemanja Vidic  .

Tottenham  , will have to keep their defense composed and manager villas Boas will be heavily relying on  his defense to manage to hold out  against  the fierce attack composing of the like of Van Persie , Rooney and Kagawa .Star striker Emanuel Adebayor may not be available due to injury concerns .

Liverpool vs Manchester City Live : Premier League | 26th August

 Liverpool are all set to face defending EPL champions Manchester City at Anfeild on Sunday at 16:00 Hours GMT  . Liverpool would want to hold city  back at Anfeild  , after their disaster of a game against West Bromwich Albion last week , their first game of the season . 

Liverpool , being  supervised by their new manager this season and are still to taste their first victory . Man City however , managed to pull of their  opening game just on the verge of 90 minutes as they won 3-2 , in a vulnerable tie up against newly promoted club Southampton , last Saturday  . 

Tonight's match will be a crucial test for Liverpool fans as they await their revenge against Mancini's men , the Reds however will have  a pack of star players coming of injuries , joining the Squad , Gerrard , Suarez Jhonson are to name a few .

Liverpool Manager Brendon Rodgers will have to exercise all options at hand , to stop Man City from claiming the first goal . Once the momentum shifts towards City's side , it'll certainly lead to a lot of ups and down the pitch for Gerrard and the lot .

EPL 2012 :Manchester United vs Fulham Live | 25 August

Manchester United will be hopeful of a better result in their 2nd game against Fulham  tonight ,after being humiliated 1-0 by the Mersey-side team Everton F.C in their beginner of the English Premier League campaign . 

Inspite of some , major signings that turned a lot of heads lately , Red Devils were unsuccessful in utilizing their resources up front . Shinji Kagawa along with Van Persie , did not manage to make their debut a success .

English Premier League : Manchester City vs Southampton Live

 Manchester City have had quite a fairy tale venture last season as they won their first English Premier League title after  almost 4 decades of wait . And this season with all the fresh faces in the squad , their only motive would be to prolong their grab of the league crown and prevent their Red neighbors , from reclaiming the title .  

 Southampton ,on the other hand are their adversaries tonight and  having  been promoted to the Premier League on finishing 2nd in the Championships , they  will certainly  look extend their stay at the top tiers by pulling off an win against the 'Citizens ' .

City , in fact doesn't have an impressive record against the Saints as they lost in 3 out of  the their last 5 League meetings and won only once , however  the tables certainly have turned drastically from then .

English Premier League : Wigan vs Chelsea Live | 19 August

Drogba heading to china , bids Adios to Chelsea F.C

Following the footsteps of Nicolas Anelka , Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will no longer appear in the Chelsea line up next season , the striker has made it clear about drawing an end to his tie ups with Chelsea Football Club , shortly after an emphatic Champions League victory  .The Ivory Coast international has been one of the most prominent goal scorers in the premier  League  in the bygone years and has found the back of the net  rather easily , relying on his physique and fitness , Drogba has been the poster boy of Chelsea for a long time, his intense urge to score has saw the  Ivory Coast international score 157 time in his 345 appearances in Chelsea colors.

Drogba , however is leaving the west London side to play in China ,the 34 year old was re-applied with a second contract attempt  from Chelsea officials to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge , but the 34 year old had his mind fixed on his Chinese dreams ,Di Matteo made some efforts to restrict the player from leaving the club but after three Premier League title , four  F.A Cups and two League Cups , Drogba made it clear on the official website of Chelsea Football Club that he will be leaving the  'Blues' as soon as his contract terminates in June this year .

Didier Drogba's achievements in the English Premier League has been in a word Spectacular with his latest Champions League title , in which the Ivory Coast international played a pivotal role scoring the equalizer ,and then tucking in the crucial  Decisive penalty during the Shootout  .

Thus , drawing an end to the 8 year long career with the Blues ,the 34 year old will undertake a new venture on Chinese soil ,Drogba was brought in about 8 years ago from Olimpique Marseille

Liverpool vs Chelsea score 4-1 : It's sweet revenge for Daglish's Men

 It’s sweet Revenge for Liverpool FC , who managed to somewhat  console their club and fans after a 4-1 victory over Chelsea Football Club , Liverpool suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of the blues in the FA Cup finals just 4 days ago going down 2-1 . Kenny Daglish’s men were rejuvenated and inspired coming into Tuesday’s game facing a weary Chelsea  who had 8 changes made in their starting line up following the two teams FA Cup meeting in the finals . Liverpool’s win the made it Kenny Daglishs’ sixth in 19 games played at Anfeild .

However after Tuesday’s loss , Stand by Manger Di Matteo said he has no regrets losing the game to an inspired Liverpool side , eight changes were made including goalkeeper Peter Chec , Juan Matta , Didier Drogba , Lampard and the likes all benched ahead of the crucial UEFA Champions League  finals . The first goal of the game was scored into the 19^th minute when a failed approach by Jhon Terry to stop Suarez , saw the ball land to Essien who netted  it in his own goal . Henderson found the back of the net just after six minutes to make it 2-0 Liverpool .  Danniel Agger’s Header secure a third goal for the Merseyside club and what seemed to be the fourth  was declined after Downing’s penalty saw the ball striking against the post just before the Half hour mark . The fourth goal finally  came as a gift  for Jhon Shelvey as Chelsea’s second choice goalkeeper Turnbull failed to successfully clear the ball which eventually found it’s way to Liverpool man Shelvey who struck a stunner from 30 meters out . Chelsea’s lone goal came from Brazilian Ramires.

Chelsea on the other side were denied an entry to the top four in the League tables after this loss and also purging out any chances for the Blues to book an European slot for the next season via the English Premier League , now Chelsea will have to win their UEFA Champions League Finals on 19^th of May to  appear in the UEFA Champions League next season . This is bound to be a tough task for  Chelsea as they  will have to carry out the endeavor without the likes of  skipper Jhon Terry , Ramires, Ivanovic and Raule Meireles , all of them benched  due to conceding  Yellow cards on a row . The Bules will have to face the rampant Bayern at Munich and also make sure to defeat them in order to play in the Europe’s Elite Club Competition  next year.

With just only one game left in the closing of this year’s English Premier League , Chelsea are now placed 6^th behind Tottenham Hotspurs and Newcastle United   , Chelsea’s last venture for this campaign will be against relegated side Blackburn Rovers on the 13^th of May.

Ultimately,  Liverpool’s FA Cup loss was somewhat  avenged  by this 4-1 victory over Chelsea .

Manchester United face a must win game tonight in the EPL

MAN UTD WIN AT OLD TRAFFORD  2-0

Just days after a disappointing loss at the hands of arch rivals Manchester City  , United will face  Swansea at Old  Trafford ,  United were the favorites this season with their impressive run so far , saw them drift eight points clear City in the league tables, but the Derby Day loss at City of Manchester stadium has given United a huge blow , and restricted their chances of winning the League.

United will have to win their remaining matches and also have to make sure to increase their goals tally as it’ll be the only way to reclaim the English Premier League  ,  United players including Patrice Evra regret letting City have the better of them and also slipping  their top position in the tables. According to the French international ,  “It hurt’s a lot” which also to an extent , subtly describes the teams state of mind after the derby .

However , with a chance to restore their dominance in the EPL standings United will go for a fledged comprehensive  win . The Red devils , won 1-0 in their last meeting against Swansea  at South Wales , back in November 2011.

Swansea on the other have sealed their place in the Premier League for the next season and have nothing to loose , other than their standing in the league tables .

The reds seem quite confident for the game   due in some hours  , and will be looking for a broad victory over their opponents today  as  fans over the world as well as the  players feel They can Bounce Back.

Man City vs Man Utd : United loses 1-0 to City

 It was a thrilling game  put on show, as the “ Mother of all derby” kicked off  at the City of Manchester Stadium last night. The red devils Manchester United were up against neighbors Manchester City in a classic tie up which gave way to only a single goal, Manchester city harnessing their home support managed to overpower  Sir Alex’s men  with a  1 goal victory . City who dominated the first half, looked desperate in shutting out United , from the commencement of the game , it was City defender Vincet Kompany who scored the lone of the game ,  during the additional time of the first half as he converted from a City corner . Breaking through the defense and without being marked  , Komapny  utilized his physique to reach for ball and in due course headed in the first and the lone of the game , Smalling  did his bit in preventing Kompany to get a touch in the ball , but it was  all in vain as City celebrated it’s first goal.

 The build up to the Manchester City vsManchester United game was in a word “enthralling” , as viewers across the globe and  those in the stadiums awaited a Classic  Clash between two English Behemoths , the stadium  was filled up to the brim and  it was the City fans who waved their banner high after the match , United Fans on the contrary were disappointed to see their team slip to the 2^nd place in the tables after being down on goal difference ,Manchester City are now leveled with United after this win with 83 points each , but are ahead in account of goal difference . With just a couple of games at hand , the sudden turns in the tables may be decisive in boosting City chance’s to lift their first EPL title ever . United on the other hand would have to make the most out of their remaining games both in terms of goals and points in order nullify City’s existing Goal difference ,that has now place them at the top of the table. City would create history if they go to win the EPL crown for the season , as it will be their only English Premier League  title .

Manchester United relied intensively on their counter attacking football , but failed to capitalize , chances were between few and far in the first half for United . Tempers soared even at the dug out  as Sir Alex got involved in some exchange of words with City coach Roberto Mancini ,which escalated into a heated conversation  after it had to be brought to an end by staffs from either side .

After this loss in the City vsUnited derby , EPL will now be more entertaining as the battle for the spot intensifies between these  lone pair of contenders .
