London Olympics Wrestling: Yogeshwar Dutt Wins Bronze Medal

Yogeshwar Dutt brought India its 5th Medal at the London Olympics as he won Bronze in the Men's 60 kg Free-Style Wrestling Event on Saturday. Yogeshwar Dutt's journey to the Bronze Medal victory was full of drama. Yogeshwar had won his Qualifier easily but lost in the Pre-Quarter Final match.

Yogeshwar then came back to wrestle in the repechage rounds. What Yogeshwar did in the repechage rounds was nothing short of human excellence. He won 3 wrestling bouts on the trot in a space of less than an hour to secure India a Bronze Medal.

This was Yogeshwar's 3rd and last Olympics and he just had the perfect ending to it. The 29-year-old Yogeshwar won his Bronze Medal match in a scintillating fashion. He scored 6 technical points in a jiffy to win the bout. Whole India is proud of him and he has certainly given some late spark to India's Olympic journey at London.

London Olympics Wrestling : Narsingh Yadav vs Judah Gentry | 1/8 Finals

India have two Wrestling contingents waiting for their shot at glory as they don in the Olympics for the first time , both Narsingh Yadav and Amit Kumar Dahiya are making their debut in the competition and will be looking to convert their efforts into going through to the next rounds. India's Narsingh Yadav a 23 year old lad , will be representing India against Canada's Judah Mathhew Gentry in the Men's 74 kg Free-Style Wrestling , due to take place at the Excel Arena . These two athletes are among India's last few shots at a medal at the London Olympics 2012  , and they will be equally confident , to uphold India's hopes on them . 

Sushil Singh Beijing Bronze medalist will also be participating in the wrestling event , and is also a potential medal contender this year .

Geeta Phogat lost both her wrestling bouts whereas Sahana Kumari failed to reach the finals of the the  High Jump Event. London Olympics Boxing : Nicola Adams vs Ren Cancan Live | Finals

The bout tonight will be a grave challenge for the 20 year old Boxing prodigy from India , however with his aggressive punching and quick movement , Devendro surely posses the ability to pull this fight off .

Indian Athlete Tintu Luka qualified for the Women's 800m Semi Finals at the London Olympics after finishing Third in the Heats on Wednesday.

Tintu Luka clocked 2:01.75 to finish behind Mariya Savinova of Russia who clocked 2:01.56 and S.Alice of USA who timed 2:01.6.
