Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Twenty20 Live: Tuesday



Sri Lanka will be taking on New Zealand in  the only Twenty20  on Tuesday, 30 October at the Pallekele International Stadium.

Sri Lanka will be captained by their new skipper Angelo Mathews as Mahela Jayawardene decided to step down after their loss to West Indies in the final of the ICC World Twenty20. Dilshan Munaweera and Dhananjay will be a couple of youngsters to look forward to in the Sri Lankan line up.Sri  Lanka will depend a lot on their two all-rounders Mathews and Perera as they have got the ability to turn the game on its head with both the bat and the ball.

New Zealand have always been a very good Twenty20 side and will look to continue their good form. The last time these two sides met was at the ICC World Twenty20 where the match ended in a tie and it was Sri Lanka who came good to win the Super Over. The Kiwis will certainly look to upset the home side today and they have certainly got the talent to do so in McCullum, Guptill, Taylor, Oram, Franklin and Southee. Kyle Mills was simply amazing in the Champions League in South Africa and he will be crucial with the new ball.
