MI vs PWI: Warriors to Up Against the Tough Mumbai Indians

The IPL is ready to witness another high voltage game tonight at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium when the Mumbai Indians take on the Pune Warriors India at 8 p.m. The Pune Warriars have lost their last 3 games and would like to get back to winning ways because if they lose today as well, they would be finding it hard to qualify for the play offs. Michael Clarke certainly has lot to offer to the Warriors outfit and he needs to take more responsibility batting up the order. Manish Pandey, Steve Smith and Robin Uthappa have been scoring runs consistently for them and Dada has also found his touch in the last few games. Pune need to tighten the screws as far as bowling at the death is concerned because they have been giving away too many runs at the end.

Mumbai Indians are at the 3rd position in the table with 10 points, but they have been far too inconsistent for their liking. They have pulled off a couple of miraculous victories in their last few games and would be hoping to register a convincing victory tonight. Their batting relies heavily on Sachin Tendulkar, but he has not looked at his best after his return from injury. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu have been winning them matches and a lot would be expected from them. The captain Harbhajan Singh is not bowling the way he would like too and needs to find form as early as possible. The lethal Lasith Malinga will be their trump card with the ball along with Munaf Patel and RP Singh.

So get ready for a thriller on Thursday night when the two Maharashtra teams take on eah other. The match will be telecastlive on SET MAX at 8 p.m India.

THE MEN WHO MATTER
PUNE WARRIORS-Clarke, Ganguly, Pandey, Smith, Uthappa.
