India are all set to face their counterparts from the subcontinent , Nepal in their third game of the Nehru Cup 2012 . The hosts are pegged as the favorites this years and have certainly justified their champions game , by potraying excellent football demolishing all their opponents so far . It started with a victory against Syria , then a comprehensive win against Maldives made matters in favor of the Men in Blue .
Apart from Subrata's excellent goalkeeping , Gourmangi Singh in the defensive half and Clifford Miranda in the attacking front have been in their best form , the later assisted in scoring during crucial moments which helped to turn the tables in favor of India , on both games India played so far in the Nehru Cup .
Tonight , however India are up against a comparatively less threatening side Nepal , but they are certainly not ready to undermine the neighboring side , Nepal so far have yet to open their account with a win . Moreover their record against India are also not convincing enough , losing 9 times and winning once .
Sunil Chettri will look to increase his Goals tally in the competition and would certainly be fancying his chances of winning the game by a comprehensive margin . .
