SLPL Semi Final: Wayamba United vs Uva Next Live

The Sri Lanka Premier League is down to the knock out stages as the Semi Finals kick off today. Wayamba United will be facing Uva Next in the 1st Semi Final on Tuesday at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The match will start at 8 pm Local Time.

The Wayamba United will be led by Mahela Jayawardene. They have got the dangerous Tamim Iqbal at the top of the order and he can really turn the game on its head. Mahela Jayawardene and Dinesh Cahndimal have played big knocks in the previous two games and they will once again have to take the onus on themselves. Brad Hogg is in excellent form with the ball as no one has been able to pick him. He is a tough customer to get after too.

Thilina Kandamby will be man to lead the Uva Next. Upul Tharanga will have to get back to run scoring methods as he has been failing consistently. Shiv Chanderpaul's experience will be handy too. They have got a pretty good bowling line up as well. Jacob Oram and Dilhara Fernando are brilliant in this for of the game with Senanayake's off spin supporting them.
