INDIA VIRTUALLY OUT OF LONDON OLYMPICS.
India's Hockey Team that once reigned on the Green turf of the Olympics has certainly taken a heavy toll at the London Olympics 2012 . Losing 2 out of their 2 matches in the Olympics so far , India are certainly on the verge of being eliminated form the preliminary Group Stages . Captain Bharat Chettri and his boys will however look to make the most out of their remaining two matches as they confront the Germans in London later this evening . India lost their beginner rather on account of ill fate , in spite of making a spectacular comeback in the 2nd Half , going down 3-2 to Netherlands . Their next adversary were the Kiwis , who are also one of the favorites this year , slammed the Hockey team 3-1 and are still in the contention of claiming a spot in the next round of the Men's Hockey Event . India's chances of qualifying , as of now are reduced to just a mathematical possibility .
They will have to win their match against the Germans and also the game versus South Korea , being their last in the preliminary group stages .
