Drogba Signs with Shanghai Shenhua for £ 200,000 a week

Didier Drogba confirms his move to China after signing a whooping  £ 200,000 a week deal with Shanghai Shenhua , Drogba becomes the second premeir league footballer to make a move to China following the footsteps of another Chelsea veteran Nicolas Anelka , Drogba was inspired on his first visit to China last year with Chelsea's Pre Season tour to the country . Apart from the Cultural difference between Europe and Asia , Drogba was attracted to his fans in China and thought it would be the best decision at this point of his career. Drogba , will join the Chinese club in July this year,  after the termination of his contract with Chelsea F.C . Despite attempts by Chelsea officials ,and even manager Di Matteo to extend the Ivorian International's contract , Drogba insisted that the move to China would be the most satisfactory at this point of time for him .

Shanghai Shenhua   F.C   is owned by a Chinese Businessman Zhu Jun and stood 11th in the Chinese Super League in the last Season , the club is located as the name suggests in Shanghai and is managed by another familiar name Sergio Batista . Nicolas Anelka will be a familiar face along side Didier Drogba .
