England vs South Africa 5th ODI Live: Nottingham | 5th September

England have finally secured their No.1 status in the ODIs after they won the 4th ODI against the Proteas at Lords on Sunday. England will now remain at the top of the ICC ODI Rankings alteast till January 2013. But  there is still a game left in the series. England will be playing South Africa in the 5th and Final ODI at Nottingham on Wednesday. England lead the series 2-1.

England have won the toss and decided to bat first. Jonathan Trott has been ruled out of this match due to an injury and Jonny Bairstow will be replacing him in the Playing XI. This is a big setback and with Trott not being there, the likes of Cook, Bell and Bopara will have to take more responsibility. England have also given Chris Woakes a go in this game as Steven Finn has been rested.

South Africa have a do-or-die situation in front of them and will have to win today to level the series. South Africa have been relying on Hashim Amla a lot and the middle order too has been failing to get them to a big score. Justin Ontong has been included in the team today and he will be useful both with the bat and the ball.

So, there is plenty to play for as England look to win the series and South Africa aim for a 2-2 finish to the series. The match will be starting at 13.00 GMT.
