India will be facing Australia in their first Super Eight encounter at the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka on Friday. The match will be played at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India and Australia are in Group 2 of the Super Eights.
India are coming off a fabulous 90 run victory over the champions England in their group stage game. India will be attacking Australia with spin because that is what won them the game against England. Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan and R.Ashwin will be coming back in the side after being rested in the previous game. India will most likely be going with 7 batsmen and 4 bowlers, 2 spinners and 2 seamers.
Australia played well in the group stages and Shane Watson was their man with both the bat and the ball. Once again the eyes will be on him to deliver the goods. Shane Watson and David Warner form a dangerous pair at the top. But the most important player for Australia will be Michael Hussey because he is a good player of spin bowling. The middle order will see the likes of White, Bailey, Maxwell and Wade. Australia have already said that they will give some chin music to the Indian batsmen and Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins will be the ones doing that.
