ICC World T20: India vs Afghanistan Live | Wednesday

India will kick start their campaign in the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka against Afghanistan on Wednesday. The match will be played at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from 7.30 pm Local Time. India, Afghanistan and England are in Group A and this will be the first match of this group.

INDIA: They had a mixed outing in their warm up games as they won 1 and lost 1 game. Indian batting is in tremendous form, with Virat Kohli leading the pack. But India will have to focus on their bowling line up. It will also be interesting to see whether India goes into the match with 4 bowlers or 5. India certainly cant take Afghanistan likely as they have got the potential to cause an upset. This is also the last chance for MS Dhoni to get things in order because they will be facing tougher opponents in the next matches.

AFGHANISTAN: They have got nothing to lose and they will be going all guns blazing. They will certainly draw some confidence from their performance in the ODI against Australia where they lost but won hearts. Though they would still find beating India difficult, they can surely push India for a win in this game. The Afghan skipper Nawroz has already said that they are full of self confidence and will be giving their best in their match later tonight. Who knows tonight might be their night.

HEAD TO HEAD:  T20Is Played-1  ||  India Won-1  ||  Afghanistan Won-0.

So get ready for this encounter as two Asian teams go against each other in the most thrilling format of the game. India are red hot favourites for this game, but the Afghanistan team will hope for an upset. You can catch all the action live here.
