Chelsea were held to a nil-nil Draw in their league tie
against Arsenal F.C at Emirates stadium
last night , just after playing the Catalonian giants Barcelona, at their home
ground in London the Blues were ready to face Gunner challenge .However Chelsea
coach , Di Matteo fielded just three of
their regular starters in the line up
,keeping in mind the Champions League Semifinal
2nd leg as they travel to spain, Jhon Terry, Gary cahill along with Goalkeeper Peter
Check were the only regular faces .Di
Matteo was certainly keeping most of his
side reserved for the upcoming fixtures.
Van Persie’s efforts
stood out before the break as his free kick was the most noticeable chance
Arsenal rendered , which was followed by a second effort ,but
this time Chelsea Goalkeeper was agile enough to react to the shot and help Chelsea retain their level state .Later on ,Chelsea made few attempts at goal which was
rather hopeful but lacked thought and planning ,the game went to the second
half as Both the English were desperate in their attempts to take the lead ,but
none of their tries converted into a
goal ,the second period of the game saw
less action and mostly was dominated by Arsenal .
