IPL 5: Teams and their Captains

                                               Captains Corner :IPL 5

  • MS Dhoni (CSK) -He has not found his mias touch this season. He  has been struggling with his form, bothe with the bat and his leadership , but he certainly foster the ability to destroy any bowling attack on his day ,in desperate times ,his Composure ,Consistency, & Calmness are the main assests of his cool disposition is what sets him apart. He will certainly look to turn over CSK's fortune.

  •  Rahul Dravid(RR) - Having retired from all forms of international cricket ,this 39 year old has certainly backed the youngsters in the Royals' team and is enjoying his own game too.Even though Royals have no big names this season ,Dravid has boosted the morale of the team and backed them to play as a unit .The results have also gone in their favour and they are at the top.

  • Sourav Ganguly(PWI)- The Bengal Tiger is  back and Roaring again.Though he has failed with the bat , his Leadership skills has not let his team Pune Warriors down. The players are playing well under their Dada and have played out their skins for him.He is a tremendous fighter and handles his team well under pressure .He would also be hoping to get back into some batting form as quickly as he can.

  •  Virender Sewag(DD)-This Hard-Hitting batsman from Nazafgarh has shown his captaincy  pretty well  in this edition of IPL.Unlike last year ,Shewag has a tremendous squad this seasonand plenty of International superstars to help him out .He would  certainly like to light up the play offs and also The IPL with his BAT .

  •  Gautam Gambhir(KKR)- He was stripped as the vice captain of India but has began leading the KKR team very well in this season of the IPL. Gambhir has lead with the bat and has not hesitated to take tough decisions when needed. He took the KnightRiders to play the Play-Offs for the first time last season and would surely like to improve on that this year .

  • Harbajan Singh (MI)- It was just a couple of days before IPL 5 that tendulkar decided to give away the Mumbai Indians captaincy to Harbajan Singh .He hasn't quite shwon the sparke untill now.Mumbai have been performing inconcsistently and so is Bhajji. The injury to Tendulkar has worsened the matters and Bhajji is missing someone who would play the anchor role at the top of the order.

  • Danniel Vettori(RCB)- Royal Challengers Bangalore began the tournament as the favourites but have not performed to their full expectation .Vettori has mostly found it difficult to control the situation at crucial times. But with Chris Gayle firing in the last two Games , Vettori can hope of better performance of his team in the coming games .Vettori has been a revelationand batsman have found it difficult to score against him.

  • Adam Gilchrist(KXIP)- This hard hitting Aussie wicket keeper have been able to pull off surprises this season.Gilly is yet to have fired with the bat and so do Marsh and Hussey .Gilchrist is a positive leader with no big expectations from KXIP this season ,which may turn out to be the vital asset for his team to see some wins this time around.
