A 'Royal Challenge' for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL

A fabulous friday awaits you for a thrilling contest at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. The Royal Challengers will be playing against the home team Kings XI Punjab. The Punjab skipper Adam Gilchrist will be missing the game due a hamstring injury which he got against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday. Punjab are really looking a weak side and will bank on Marsh, Hussey and Mascarenhas to do the job for them. RCB are coming off a fabulous victory against the Pune Warriors and will look to ciontinue their wiining momoentum. RCB have got plenty of match winners in them and will be expecting big things from the big Jamaican Chris Gayle who has really got the crowd rolling with his big hitting.

The Mohali pitch will suit the seamers and Zaheer would be hoping to get some wickets on this green track. The powerplayers will also like playing here as the ball would be coming nicely on to the bat and they could play through the line. Both the teams have played 5 matches till now and have 4 points at their back. Whoever wins this will climb up the ladder in the points table and the loser will be really chasing from behind, finding it difficult to reach the play-offs.This game is an important one for both the sides and both of them would be looking to make a mark. RCB surely hold the edge but Punjab have the potential to surprise big teams. So, get ready for the action as the two teams in red battle it out at the PCA in Mohali.
