Chennai Super Kings will be up against the Deccan Chargers at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday night at 8 pm. Chennai Super Kings have certainly not lived up to their expectations in this tournament so far and have been far too inconsistent. They have been relying on du Plessis at the top of the order to provide them good starts and he hasn't disappointed too. But the poor batting form of Raina, Jadeja and Dhoni is a cause of concern for CSK. Albie Morkel and Dwayne Bravo would be looking to turn the tide for their team once again. CSK rely a lot on their off spinner R. Ashwin and he has bowled exceedingly well in this season so far. CSK are currently at no. 5 in the points table and would be looking to get in the top 4 with a win tonight.
It has not been a good season for the Deccan Chargers upto now as they have lost have a couple of very close games and had they won those games, it would have been a different story for them. But they have won 2 of their last 3 games and will like to continue the winning momentum.Cameron White has been the architect of both the wins and the Chargers will be expecting him to fire again tonight with the bat. Captain Sangakkara and JP Duminy have scored runs in bits and pieces and need to get their act together to push their team forward in the points table. Shikhar Dhawan has performed consistently with the bat and Dale Steyn has been looking at his firy best with the ball. The Chargers will like to go on and beat the CSK in their own den, but it is not going to be an easy task. So, be ready to witness another nerve-wreckling encounter tonight at 8 p.m India tonight.
