Ferguson and Mancini gets involved in a Squabble, during Man city vs Man Utd derby clash

Manchester United against Manchester City was as expected a classic showdown between two topnotch Neighbors. Though the game went in favor of the sky blue side from Manchester but witnessed intense drama both on the field and off it . This derby win saw City move up to the top of the EPL table standings on account of their goal difference, meanwhile United would regret slipping away all 3 points as their loss virtually handed over the title to Manchester City , with  just two games remaining in the English Premeir League this season one at Newcastle and the other facing QPR at the City of Manchester Stadium  , the task may not be as challenging for Roberto Mancini’s men as they successfully overcame the foremost  hurdle in their path to the EPL title defeating the Red Devils 1-0 .However in the words of City Manger Mancini “ The task is only half completed”.

However this classic encounter between City and United also witnessed a fierce War of Words during the game at touchline as both the mangers got involved in hot exchange of words , tempers soared high as Mancini’s hand gestures infuriated Sir Alex Ferguson  , it was finally calmed down by officials and the team staff from both the sides but only  for the game , sarcastic comments and taunts flew here and there during the post match interviews from both coaches.

Sir Alex accused Mancini of somewhat trying to manipulate the officials during the game, “Mancini was badgering the ref and the fourth official all game”. “He was complaining about the refs all week , but he can’t complain about this one”. Ferguson said in one of his interviews. Mean while on the other side of the fence Mancini’s explanations in  the scenario was quite contrasting    as he claimed “ I was talking to the fourth officials he told me some kind words , I answered him and it finished “. Mancini sarcastically diverted all allegations by Sir Alex by denying any efforts from him in influencing the officials , he said “And  him ? no ! he never talks to the referee no?  , never !!  ” .
