Juventus Wins Serie A , Inter defeats AC Milan 4-2 on derby day

It is now officially the 28^th  Serie  A title for Italian side Juventus , after they defeated  Cagliari in their Serie A  league tie up by  2-0 ,it was Juve’s first League title after 9 years post the infamous match fixing scandal which saw the Italian giants reallocated to the third division of the Italian Football  league tier . Cagliari were forced to relocate their home fixture to  a different location after security issues , Juventus took the lead early in the game with Mirko  Vucinic opening the account , the second goal was scored in the later half when substitute Borellio sealed the match with his Juventus’ 2^nd goal .

Juventus’ title hopes were confirmed after AC Milan’s defeat in the Milan Derby going 4-2 down against Internazionale , the game saw incredible turn of tables and also witnessed an array  penalty decisions , which were also capitalized on three respective occasions . Inter’s Diego Milito scored the first within 14 minutes giving his side the advantage early on , dramatic occasions surrounded the entire stretch  of 90 minutes , with each side hanging on , AC Milan were the defending Seire A champions and were also the only obstruction in Juventus’  path to claiming the league title . Milan were awarded a controversial kick from the spot after , Brazilian Julio Cesar brought down   Boateng in the box , however replays seemed  to contradict the refree’s decision as  the Inter Goalkeeper clearly got his hand to deny the ball to Boateng . Julio cesar was overhauled , despite his attempts to distract Ibrahimovic . The Swedish star scored just before drawing an end to the first phase of the intriguing Inter Milan Vs AC Milan derby at San Siro. Just after the break it was Ibrahimavic who scored his second to give Milan the lead . Inter Milan were quick to respond through a goal from penalty by Diego Milito making it his second in the Milan Derby. Milito then scored again  to confirm a hattrick also through an penalty , The match progressed and ended in an emphatic 4-2 scoreline with Brazilian International Maicon netting in the fourth for Internazionale   . This derby day loss at the hands of Inter , restricted AC Milan’s chances of reclaiming the Serie A title for this campaign  and also in the meantime handing it over to  Juventus  .
