India Beat Sri Lanka 4-1 To Become World No.2


India continued their dominant performance in the ODI Series against Sri Lanka to beat them by 20 runs in the 5th ODI. Gambhir(88), Tiwary(65) and Dhoni(58) scored half-centuries to take India to 294/7.

But the Man of the Moment was Irfan Pathan who took 5/61 and scored 29* to take India to victory and was also awarded the Man of the Match award.

Virat Kohli was adjudged the Man of the Series for scoring a total of 296 runs at a staggering average of 74. With this win, India now go up to No.2 in the ICC ODI Rankings and are just decimal points behind Australia who are at the top with 119 points.

1st ODI: India Won By 21 Runs
2nd ODI: Sri Lanka Won By 9 Wickets
3rd ODI: India Won By 4 Wickets
4th ODI: India Won By 6 Wickets
