India's Medal Hopes will be lying hugely on Vikas Gowda as he participates in the Men's Discus Throw Final today at the London Olympics.
The 6 feet 9 inch Discus thrower Vikas Gowda Ranked No.1 in the Qualification Round that took place on Monday. He threw 65.20m in the Qualifiers to reach the Finals of this Event.
Vikas Gowda does most of his training in the United States and that has certainly raised his standards of Discus Throwing. He will be feeling the pressure as more than a billion people will be hoping that he brings the 5th Medal for India at the London Olympics.
The Men's Discus Throw Final Will Start At 18.45 GMT (00.15 IST, Wednesday).
