- If , France are to proceed as Winners of Group D , they will confront a familiar Italian side (Group C runners up) , which is guaranteed to be a classic encounter.
- If England proceeds as runner up of Group D they will face Group C winners Spain in the Quarterfinals else it will be Ukraine against Spain .
In the last game of the Group Stages of Euro Cup 2012 , it will be England taking on Co-Hosts Ukraine in a Group D clash in Donetsk . England have to win against their counterparts today in order to proceed to the next stages .
Ukraine are just a point short of the English in the Group Standings and will not bow down , without giving a tough competition to Roy Hodgson's men . England , have secured a second spot with 4 points as of now , after winning against Sweden in their last game , and beginning the European Cup campaign with a draw against France.
