England and France are now back to winning ways after both sides met
successful results in their second Group leg tie in the Euro 2012 . A
resilient English side defeated an evenly matched Sweden 3-2 in Kyiv
,Ukraine . England started the game after having confronted a
disappointing draw in their last match, so they looked for nothing else
other than the three points which might just be able to provide some
breakthrough to advance into quarterfinals. However , Ukraine are now just one
point behind England and France in the tables and the Co-hosts
would need to do whatever it takes to earn themselves a spot in the next round
of the UEFA Euro Cup 2012 in front of their home crowd .
It was Substitute , Theo Walcott , who played the hero for England , in yesterday’s game against Sweden , after scoring the much needed third goal, to settle terms
with Sweden and earn his side the much needed victory .And also in the meantime
, successfully breaking almost a decade
old Jinx . The other two goals came from
Liverpool man Andy Carrol , whose superb strike gave England the lead followed
by a disappointing own goal from Sweden .
France , won 2-0 overhauling Ukraine , with some help Menez and Cabaye in
another game which took place yesterday .
Sweden ,
after yesterday's disappointing defeat are now almost assured an early
exit from the group stages , as they now go into their last game against France on 19 of June . Sweden, are now placed at the bottom of the
tables with no points and with only a game on their hands.
Ukraine's fortune, will now entirely rest on France and England and also in
the meantime make sure to earn a comprehensive victory in their last game
against the British , . Though possibilities may seem bleak for the Co-Hosts of
Euro 2012, but both the French and the English now have a breakthrough to
advance into the quarterfinals of the tournament, with 4 points each in
their bags and having drawn their first game with no loss ,England and France
will look to make the most of their last game scheduled on 19th of June.
Matters now looks , infavor of both these team this year , however it was not
so in the Euro 2008 , where the French bid goodbye from the group stages and England failed to even qualify for the
tournament . So, a Successful Euro 2012 venture is crucial for both the teams
and their fans and supporters back home .
