Sweden vs England : Can England break the jinx ? Euro 2012

Manager Roy Hodgson at a press Conference

Sweden -2  | FT | England- 3

Sweden will be appearing in their second Group leg tie up against England , after suffering a defeat at the hands of co-hosts Ukraine in their beginner of the Euro 2012 . Sweden , were overhauled by a stupendous double by the Ukrainian maestro Shevchenko , who took the stadium up by storm after scoring the much anticipated equalizer and then the crucial goal which gave the Ukrainians a sound sleep , that night . Ukraine are now , leading the points table standings , however today's game against France may be the real test for e Co-Hosts of the Euro cup 2012 . Team Sweden , will be dependent on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's  performance tonight as they face a fearsome English side , Manager Roy Hodgson might consider exercising an offensive strategy for tonight's game as they go for all three points , which will boost up their possibilities to enter the Qualifiers . England , however  will be deprived from service of the 'Boy Wonder' Wayne Rooney , after receiving suspension order  for  First two matches of the competition , due to bookings .

Ibrahimovic will confront a daunting task against England
Hodgson , do have other options to choose from , and preferably might be going with Danny Welbeck along with Damien Defoe or Andrew Carrol  , for tonight .England were held to a one all draw by the french in their opening encounter and will be desperately in need of  a win if they are to qualify for the next stages . French International and Arsenal prodigy Samir Nasri cut short , England's celebrations last game, after taking the lead . Defence might be one of  the few  reasons of worry for manager Roy Hodgson,  as  they face the Swedish tonight  in Kyiv , Ukraine

Interestingly however , England have failed  to defeat Sweden in their last seven meetings , in competitive schedules,  excluding friendlies . While , Some  might term it as a jinx , but for optimist it is a golden opportunity before the English team to showcase their real capabilities and break the jinx once and for all on one of the largest platforms of Football . Back in Wembley last year England defeated  Sweden by a single goal ending the game 1-0 .
