Italy vs Croatia - Are you ready ? : Euro cup 2012

In the first match of  Thursday's  Euro 2012 Group C meet, it will be  Italy vs Croatia , The Azzurri  after an unsatisfying result in their last encounter , will seek a comprehensive victory over their counterparts tonight , it is supposedly a must win game for the Italians. The Azzuri will battle it out with the Croatians , a comparatively lowered ranked team , but still with a lot  of potential to stun even the mightiest of opponents . Luca Modric , will be Croatia's most effective player in tonight's game , and a lot will rely on his back  as they look to hold out Italy in their Euro Cup Group C encounter , a simple draw will switch matters in favor of the Croatians as they have a slight advantage over their opponents in terms of points .

Italy were held 1-1 by Spain on last Sunday ,  in-spite of playing a more positive game that night ,Their game against the defending champions did not yield the result they would have hoped for and unfortunately luck  favored neither side . Italy coach Prandelli , might give some thoughts on bringing some fresh faces in the squad for tonight's game , after forward Balotelli's disappointing performance versus Spain ,  may result him to start from the bench for tonight's game against Croatia . Antoni Di Natale , may find a starting eleven spot owing to his mesmerizing goal in the last game after coming off the bench  .

Italy and Croatia previously met way back  in the 2002 World Cup Qualifiers where the Azzurri suffered a 2-1 defeats against their opponents tonight . In the other game in Group C tonight , featuring Ireland vs Spain , the later will have an arguably easier task , Ireland will look to make the most out of tonight's game as it might be their last chance to proceed to the next stages .
