Ireland vs Spain ,while some might dub it as a David and Goliath story , it might in fact , be one . Having been placed in one of the toughest groups in the Euro 2012 Ireland , are almost assured an swift exit form the group stages unless they come up with a miraculous upset , already having lost lost their first game of Gruop C 3-1 against Croatia on Sunday , Coach Trappattoni's men will have to work their hearts out in order to proceed in the next stages of the tournament . The Spanish Armada on the other hand , still haven't been able to showcase their real strengths , after drawing against the Italians on their first endeavor . With veterans such as Carles Puyol , David Villa missing the tournament because of injury woes , the loop holes in the Spanish Defense could be exploited in favor of the Irish .
