Barcelona vs Chelsea :Champions League 2nd leg draw at Camp Nou

It has been  quite a rough ride for FC Barcelona so far  as the side faced two straight defeats in a  span of 3 days , the Catalan giants  who had been  well reputed  for their Midas touch seems to  be unable to reclaim it , After their away leg defeat against Chelsea at Home  and their defeat against arch rivals Real Madrid at Nou Camp, saw the defending UEFA and La Liga Champion move down the points table in the La Liga virtually handing over title to Real Madrid .Pep Guardiola  had to  answer for his recent unsuccessful ventures and failed  tactics. The Catalan Coach would have to rely upon his best tonight as they would look to overturn a  1-0 deficit against English Side Chelsea F.C , in the 2^nd leg of the UEFA Champion League Semifinal Round at Camp Nou.  The Spanish side had so far been the one of the  most Consistent teams in football  since the last two years ,but their recent unsuccessful ventures have led many , to think about their fading presence in the region .as in the words of Arsene Wenger “The Barcelona we saw the other night was not the Barcelona of last year “ .

However the Catalan side have no reason not to win today and turn the tides against Chelsea , Barcelona had a quite impressive run in the last few seasons   under the supervision of Pep Guardiola ,the team has won more 13 trophies since the Spanish coach took over ,and are also the reigning UEFA and La Liga  champions .Guardiola will be seeking revenge from Di Matteo’s side as they face Chelsea  on Tuesday  at their home turf ,  Barcelona will today be more alarmed against the side and specifically against the Ivory Coast international Dider Drogba who gave the Spanish side a bitter pill to swallow  by scoring  the lone winner  at the UEFA Champions Semifinal 1stleg. However   Chelsea may be deprived of using the Ivorian as  Didier drogba  was not place in the squad as Chelsea faced off against Arsenal due to a knee injury ,however his absence may be the only cause of worry for the English side .Chelsea will be fielding a fresh squad after reserving most of their 1^st team players in their last fixture against Arsenal. However defender  David Luiz may be absent from today’s match due to an injury  but the likes of Jhon Terry and Garry Cahill will to  compensate the loss, Fernando Torres may also find himself in the starting line up if Drogba misses the game over his injury fears .

However the sleek 1 goal advantage may not be enough ,to secure a place in the finals for the London team  Both the side will desperately look to boost their chances and convert to find a place at Munich this time around , Chelsea’s resilient defence against Barca’s spearheading attack will be the main attraction in today’s game In Chelsea Vs Barcelona at Nou camp in the UEFA Champions League Semifinal 2nd leg fixture .
