Real Madrid Vs Bayern Munich : Champions League 2nd LEG. match preview

Santiago  Bernebaue is all set to host the 2ndleg of the UEFA Champions League Semifinal  round tonight , it’ll be the Bavarians  travelling to Madrid with their  sleek one goal advantage over Real  , while the home side will be looking for a payback this time around  on their home turf. Real’s only goal in the 1st leg of the semifinal may be prove vital in claiming a winner out of tonight’s tie , Bayern Munich emerged victorious in the 1stleg ,  with a 2-1 win  over their Spanish counterpart ,with Mario Gomez  slotting in a winner during injury time and eventually   ensuring the triumph for his sode in the first leg. However the lone goal from Mesut Ozil may contribute to the aggregate and could prove decisive in choosing  the team going to the UEFA Champions LeagueFinals due to be held at Munich ,Germany.

It’ll   certainly be advantage Bayern tonight as the Bavarians look to stretch their difference in aggregate further, the 1st leg was solely decided in terms of counterattacking plays ,and Heynckes will look to implement the same tactic in tonight’s game .Frank Ribery’s  role may prove instrumental in midfield as  he’ll be the one spearheading Bayern’s attack in the meantime also keeping a check  their  defence . Jose Murinho on the other hand is relying upon their  home support and fans as it’ll be the motivation  which will provide addition impetus to Real’s game implying the importance of the crowd in tonight’s game , he said “ I hope Bernebeu gets the first goal . The  crowd has to be ready from the minute we go on the pitch because we feel their presence “.

Tonight’s victory will see the the Madrid side reach the final of the Champions league since long back in 2002 , now almost a decade after , a fresh Real Madrid with the likes of stars such as  Cristiano Ronaldo ,Kaka ,cassilias  would be craving for a Champions League title and  the “Best in Europe”’ tag beside their name . Tonight’s line up may see some fresh faces off the bench as Marcelo , Kaka will hopefully start against the Bavarians , Three big games within  such a short span of days is certainly a major cause of concern for Murinho  .

Real Madrid have won 9 of their last 12 games against any German club in the Champions League, and also 10 of their last 11 home games at the Santiago Bernebeu .  Whereas, Bayern on the other hand  has just conceded single goal in their last 4 Champions League ventures while scoring 13 goals, however their records on Spanish soil is not very convincing .

Real’s odds of winning A single goal tonight which will see them through ,on account  of their away goal at Munich during the 1st leg  ,however also conceding none .

Bayern’s Chances          :  Defending their goal and securing a goalless draw will fix their spot at the finals of the UEFA Champions Finals.
