The Pune Warriors are up against the Deccan Chargers tonight at the Subrata Roy Stadium in Pune. Both the team are coming off from loses in their last game. Pune had got of to a great start in this season of the IPL but have gone off the mark in the last few game. Yuvraj wiill be present today at the stadium and will be cheering for his franchise. Pune will be looking for some runs from their in form players like Uthappa, Ryder and Manish Pandey. Ganguly has still not found hi touch with the bat and needs to fire as quickly as possible. The reins of the bowling department will be in the hands of Alfonso Thomas and Murli Kartik to tie down the Chargers' batsmen. Pune will be having the home advantage bat will have to play as a unit to overcome the Chargers.
Deccan Chargers finally got some points under their belt as their last game against the Kolkata Knight Riders was washed out due to rain. They are still searching for their first victory this season and would like to end their drought tonight. They have got some big match players in their side like Sangakkara, Steyn and Duminy but they have not performed up to their expectataions. The Chargers need to win 8 of their remaining 10 matches to qualify to the play-offs and it is going to be a very tough journey from here on.
