Real Madrid whisker away from being crowned La Liga BBVA winners

Benzema clebrates with Ronaldo after the duo's performance secured a 3-0 victory over Sevilla

Real Madrid are just 3 matches away from being crowned the La Liga BBVA champions for this season , their impressive run this season has helped  them in their  path for reclaiming the the title after four year of wait . Murinho's men are well ahead of  defending champions  F.C Barcelona with 91 points in the La Liga table ,while the Catalan giants lag behind by 10 points with  current  the tally  of 81. Barcelona's 3 years reign ultimately will  draw to an ironical  close as  they lose the title to arch rival Real Madrid and also bids farewell to fellow coach Pep Guardiola who had a phenomenal record with the Catalan side , the sad stepping out of the Spanish veteran coach occurred  in the most unlikeliest of situations after the team’s departure from the UEFA Champions League only 6 days back, subsequent to  their 2-1 defeat in the El Classico tie  versus Real Madrid .

Real Madrid marksman Cristiano Ronaldo helped the Madrid drift and inch closer to the title after his 43rd goal this campaign, saw the Spanish side earn a 3-0 win over Sevilla in the Santiago Bernebeu . Frenchman Karim Benzema, netted the first two goals to guarantee his side a victory .However this victory may be of some consolation for Jose Murinho after their exodus from Champions League ,losing to Bayern Munich in the Semfinal round. Real will now look to clinch on to their assured La  Liga title for the season as the league draws to a close .

Racing Santader were relegated to the 2nd division after failing to register a victory in last 17 league games .
