England vs Australia 3rd ODI: England Eye Series Win

England have been playing out of their skins till now in the ODI Series against Australia and that is the very reason they are leading the series 2-0. England have got a golden oppurtunity in Edgbaston to seal the series. England had earlier won the two ODIs pretty comfortably and the whole team has been contributing to the victory. The fact that Kevin Pietersen has retired from the shorter format of the game has not affected their cricket. Ian Bell has been simply superb the way he has batted after making his comeback in the ODI side. Australia have got no other option but to win today and stay alive in the series. This match is going to be a Day-Night affair and the seamers are surely going to enjoy bowling under the lights at Edgbaston.

England batsmen have in scintillating touch so far in the series, especially the likes of Bell, Bopara and Morgan. They have been able to tackle the Aussie pacers in a very clinical manner and they would like to do the same in today's game as well. On the other hand, the big names of Australian batting order have been unable to score consistently and spend some time in the middle. Watson and Warner have scored individual half-centuries but have failed to put on a good opening stand. Australia will certainly be looking forward for some runs off their Captain Michael Clarke's bat. As far as the batting department is concerned, England are looking on top at the moment.

Australia will be hoping for some wonders atleast from Brett Lee with the ball. The two young fast bowlers James Pattinson and Pat Cummins have still not got enough oppurtunity in the series. These two have promised a great deal with the bowl in the recent past and need to be given more chances at this level. Australia are missing a quality spinner in their ranks, which hurts them in the middle overs. Jade Dernbach has been ruled out of the ODI Series due to an injury and Chris Woakes has been called in as a replacement. Anderson and Swann will be spearheads with the ball for England. So, make sure you catch all the action live on Star Cricket and Star Cricket HD.

The Match is Scheduled to Start at 13.00 GMT.
