India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI: Preview | Head To Head | Teams

India will be locking horns with Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI of the 5 Match Series at Hambantota on Tueday. India lead the series 1-0 after winning the 1st ODI by 21 runs. India will try to go 2-0 up in the series while Sri Lanka will desperately be looking to make a comeback. This match is going to be a cracker jacker of a contest as both the sides are evenly matched.

INDIA: They made a brilliant start to their new season in the first game and will be looking to carry on the momentum in this match too. Their hopes will once again lie on their strong batting order. Sehwag and Gambhir will be crucial at the top of the order. But the trump card is going to be Virat Kohli who is going through a purple patch in his career, scoring 4 centuries in his last 5 ODIs. There can be no better finishers in the world game than Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni. Irfan Pathan is going to be the lone all rounder. India will once again play 3 pacers and 2 spinners. The only change expected is that Manoj Tiwary might replace Rohit Sharma in the playing XI.

SRI LANKA: They have got no other option but to bounce back in the series by winning in this match. They certainly missed Nuwan Kulasekara in the death overs in the previous game. Kulasekara has been ruled out of the series due to a groin strain and Nuwan Pradeep will replace him. The trump card for Sri Lanka is going to be the trio of Dilshan, Sangakkara and Jayawardene. Jayawardene might open the innings in this game as No. 5 is too low for him in the batting order. Thisara Perera and Angelo Mathews are the game changers as far as Sri Lanka are concerned. Rangana Herath is going to be the lone front line spinner playing in this game for Sri Lanka.
