In the Second Victory for the Indian Contingent at the Olympics for the day , its Soumyajit Ghosh who advances from Men's Singles Table Tennis group stages , after overpowering his Brazilian counterpart Gustavo Tsuboi 11-9 , 14-12 , 7-11 , 12-10 , 5-12 and 12-10 . The 19 year old Bengal Boy brought a smile to the Indian faces in the crowd after what has been a disappointing day for the Indian Athletes , with only two successful ventures including Ghosh's win .
Soumyajit Ghosh will now face North Korean Kim Hyok Bong in the Second round of the Men's Singles Table Tennis due tomorrow , on the 29th of July . The winner of the third round will advance to face the South Korean Joo Saehyouk .
In other contest due tonight , it will be a thrilling competition as Boxer Vijender Singh face Kazakh Suzhanov Danabekin the Round of 32 , 22:30 GMT
